Maple Avenue Houses

You will notice that the streets of the Townsite are designed with house styles consistently repeated on each block. Aspen Street is the exception to this rule with architectural designs not found on any other street.

As you cross Aspen Street and continue along Maple Avenue you will enter the new section of the Townsite. All the homes north of Aspen Street were constructed prior to 1920 and the homes south of Aspen were constructed primarily between 1920 and 1930. All of Townsite's streets are named after trees showing the inseparable ties between the community and the forest industry.
